Kroger

I received coupons and a gift card from Bzzagent to purchase Kroger Greek yogurts and their Carbmaster products.  I bought several of the Greek yogurts in different flavors and I have to say that I wasn't impressed.  I don't know if it was the Stevia that they use to sweeten the yogurt, but it had a funny after taste to it and it wasn't good.  I'm not a huge fan of artificial sweeteners to begin with and I wish that they would have had a different option.  I probably wouldn't buy these again as I much prefer different brands of Greek Yogurt such as Greek Gods. 

BzzAgent Review - MorningStar Farms

I am a consumer tester for a website called Bzzagent.  In exchange for free items, I spread the word about what I have tried.  My very first campaign that I got through Bzzagent was MorningStar Farms Meatless products.  I received coupons in the mail for a free product and then coupons to use or share with friends.  I had never tried a meatless "meat" product before, but I had wanted to.  I chose the Spicy Black Bean Burgers.  They were surprising really tasty.  I didn't eat them on a bun as an actual hamburger replacement, because honestly, that really just seemed weird, haha!  I instead made taco salads with them and they were delicious!  I tore up a burger over salad greens and added sour cream and salsa and I enjoyed every bite.  I haven't tried any other varieties yet, but I can't wait to. 

Resurrection

I started this blog a while ago in hopes of blogging about something other than my family.  Not that I don't love my family, but my other blog is (okay, was - since I haven't updated it in months) more of a picture update for family and friends that don't get to see us that often.  I posted all of 2 times on this blog before I decided to call it quits on my creative outlet.  However, I think the time has come to resurrect this blog.  One of the main reasons is because I am a member of a couple of different consumer testing sites that send me free items.  In exchange for these free items, I am supposed to spread the word in any way possible - but one of their favorite ways seems to be blogging about it.  So, I'll blog about my free items and many other things that I find interesting and fun.  I don't really have any readers at this time, but I hope that will change as my blog grows and I try to get the word out.  Enjoy!

Welcome!

I've been thinking about doing a new blog for quite a while and I finally decided to do it.  I already have a blog that I've used as a way to keep family and friends up to date with pictures of my children and what's been going on in our lives.  However, it wasn't a creative thing for me and almost felt like a chore to keep updated.  I haven't even bothered to update it in the last 4 months.  I probably will again, but for the time being, I think I'll focus on this blog to give myself an outlet.

I am a stay at home mom of 2 boys, ages 5 and 2.  Therefore, I don't get as much adult conversation in my life as I want.  I find things that I like, love, and dislike and I would love to share them.  I love beauty products, but I don't want to be a beauty blogger because there are a ton of them and they all seem generic to me.  I love books, but my taste in books is far different from many others so I wouldn't want to blog about just books.  I am not a crafty mom or a particularly good cook, but I occasionally find recipes and such that I would like to share.  I also occasionally get free products that I need to write blog reviews on, and it seemed really out of place to put things like that on my blog about my kids.  Whether anybody will actually read and enjoy this blog is yet to be seen, but it will still be a nice outlet for me to express myself.
